From request to production-ready solution
Mulcheva works on a project basis. Each request is assessed according to the product, application, dimensions, quantities, materials, finish, technical requirements, planning and delivery.
We guide professional customers and project partners through the process — from the initial request and feasibility assessment to specification, technical preparation, production, packaging and delivery.
Project request
The process starts with the information available for the project. Depending on the request, this may include:
- product or product category
- intended application
- dimensions
- quantities or estimated volume
- preferred materials, colours or finishes
- project location
- required timing
- drawings, specifications or DXF files
- artwork, reference images or other relevant files
Not every detail needs to be final at this stage. The initial information allows us to understand the request and determine the next step.
Assessment & feasibility
Mulcheva reviews the request from a technical, production and commercial perspective.
Depending on the project, we assess:
- product configuration and materials
- dimensions and quantities
- manufacturing and finishing requirements
- printing, branding or customisation
- technical drawings and special processing
- packaging and delivery requirements
- project timing
- suitability of the relevant manufacturing route
Where necessary, requirements are coordinated with the appropriate specialised production partner before a proposal is prepared.
Proposal & specification
Once the requirements have been reviewed, we define the proposed product and production approach.
Depending on the request, the proposal may include the product configuration, materials, dimensions, finishes, quantities, custom options, packaging, expected lead time and pricing.
Where further technical information or decisions are required, these are identified before the project moves into production preparation.
Design & technical preparation
Once the project moves forward, the required files and technical information are prepared or checked for production.
Depending on the product, this may include:
- artwork and print files
- resolution, proportions and positioning
- colours, patterns and branding
- dimensions and panel layouts
- technical drawings or DXF files
- cut-outs, drill holes and special shapes
- mounting or component requirements
- alignment across multiple products or panels
The objective is to translate the approved concept and specifications into information that can be used correctly in production.
Sample or approval
For selected custom products, larger projects or recurring production, a sample, prototype, colour reference or pre-production approval may be recommended before full production begins.
This allows relevant aspects such as colour, print quality, material, finish, dimensions or overall appearance to be reviewed in advance.
Once the required specifications are approved, the project can move into production.
Production & quality coordination
Production is coordinated according to the approved specifications with the selected specialised manufacturing partner.
Depending on the product, this may involve custom manufacturing, printing, cutting, machining, finishing, assembly, branding or other product-specific processes.
Throughout production, the agreed dimensions, configuration, finish and other relevant requirements form the basis for execution.
For recurring orders, agreed production specifications can also be used to help maintain consistency between production runs.
Packaging, delivery & installation preparation
After production, products are prepared for professional delivery according to the requirements of the project or sales channel.
Depending on the request, this can include project-specific packaging, palletised transport, labelling, product documentation, mounting components or preparation for further distribution.
Products are normally supplied for installation by the customer’s appointed local contractor or professional installation team. Where relevant, technical drawings, mounting information and installation guidance can be provided to support local installation.
For larger or technically complex projects, Mulcheva can also provide project coordination or on-site support by arrangement, helping communication between the customer, production partner and installation team.
What we need for a good start
To assess a request efficiently, it helps if you can provide:
- project or product description
- product category
- intended application
- approximate dimensions
- quantities or expected project volume
- preferred materials, colours or finishes
- drawings, plans or DXF files where available
- artwork, logos or reference images where relevant
- project location
- required timing or deadline
- packaging or delivery requirements where applicable
You do not need to have every technical detail available before contacting us. We can help identify which additional information is required for the next stage.
